Build a Bear in Palisades Center

Build-A-Bear Workshop is an American retailer that sells customizable teddy bears and other stuffed animals. Build-A-Bear is the largest of the create-your-own animal chains with the other companies in the business consisting of regional and/or locally-owned operations. The company motto is "Where Best Friends Are Made." [1] This is probably a good idea for a later date; someone has to bring a stuffed animal home. The basic idea is to make a bear together. There's some information available from their web site about all the customization you can put into your stuffed animal. The more customization, the more you pay. Basically, the store will allow you to pick a shell which is basically what the animal looks like. You can put sound in it; you can have it say different things. You put in a heart. They try to make this as mushy as possible. They fill it up. You brush it. You go to a computer where you name it and print a birth certificate for it. You can then add any kind of accessory you can imagine. They then give you a "house" box to keep it in. The whole process should take around half an hour. A basic bear should run around $15. Tips
